Watched this movie last night , I can't say enough about this film , everybody needs to watch it . Love how they put the gospel at the end , if your not saved please watch this to the very end .

False Repentance Doctrine Exposed

Snowman Face Ornaments

We made these our last week of school before our break ,

we are going to hang them on our memory tree .

You will need:

*Clear glass or plastic ball ornaments 

*Artificial snowflakes

*Rubbing Alcohol

*Fabric paint ( in squeeze bottles ) black

and orange.

*Pencil 

Remove the top of the ornament and fill with fake snow . Use the eraser end of a pencil to push the snow down a bit so you can get the ornament nice and full  , if  you pack the snow to loosely then as it settles , the ball will no longer be full of snow . Replace the ornament top . Wipe down the outside of the ornament with rubbing alcohol and wait a few minutes for it to dry . Using the black paint , squeeze out 2 dots for eyes and 6 dots for a mouth . Using the orange paint , paint on the nose . Place on top of a cup to dry . We took a sharpie and put our initials and date on the bottom .

I had craft projects and making snacks planned to do with the kids over our break but this is my 8th day with this flu and lets just say that the flu is harsh , it will not let go , all the kids have it now . We are postponing Christmas , at least getting together with family , we don't want other people getting this flu , believe me it's terrible . I didn't even finish the kids stockings so we are not going to have any this year , it's ok with them they know what Christmas is all about , I let them have an early present today , it was a stop sign , they have been wanting one for a while , they love to ride their riding toys in the house in the winter , they don't know it yet but under the tree they have a traffic light to go with it and a gas pump . I can't wait to watch them open their presents .

Christmas Break

We had our last day of school yesterday before our break , I didn't know if I would make it the rest of this week after coming down with the flu on 12-12-12 :( . I am thankful that it's not the type of flu that keeps you in the bathroom though it's a head and chest flu , still makes you ache all over though. Just thought I would update and post some pics . I have had so much fun watching the kids open their advent calendars this year , especially Leah because this is her first year getting an advent , last year she was to little , so far I think her favorite gift was a small bag of marshmallows , funny she would rather have food than a toy . I love Christmas , singing Christmas songs , decorating , wrapping presents , Christmas trees . I have a few trees that I love to put out every year , one of my favorites is what I call my psalm tree , I decorate this tree with psalms , bible verses and I have a church that lights up . My other favorite is our memory tree , on this tree I put ornaments the kids have made over the years and pictures of the kids every Christmas and a few pictures of close family members that have passed on . My other tree is our nature tree , I have it because I love the outdoors and we decorate it with anything woodsy . The girls have a little pink tree upstairs , they decorate it with little girly ornaments . So far this year we have had mild temperatures here , probably this will change but for now I love it . Here is a picture of Job , I can't believe he is going to be 4 months on the 29th of this month . I love his shyness , when he smiles at me he wants to hide his face .

Leah is going through terrible two's , but still as lovable as ever , every morning when we start school she wants paper and a pencil to.

Riley wanted to know if she could be my mommy and take care of me til I get better , she is so sweet . I have the best nurses ...

 

Dallas has been busy , I can't wait to spend some time with her as soon as I get better .

Our School Room

We are starting our 3rd week of school tomorrow , we are behind because of my 2 week rest (if that's what you want to call it ) after Job was born :) . Riley is starting kindergarten , even though I have been teaching her since she was 3 this is the real thing so I was nervous the first day , but after the last 2 weeks we are getting adjusted , I have learned that with little ones your school day sometimes will last longer than planned , but I love home schooling already because I get to spend all my time with the kids which is what I love :) . I bought a preplanned curriculum which helped me out a lot but I still have to plan for hours some days because I add more to it , I want my children to have the best education I can possibly give them . Dallas gave me the upstairs room for our school room ,that was nice of her because we needed it , she don't really care about having a room of her own anymore , I can't believe that next year will be her last year of school . Where does the time go ? Job is a month old already, Here are some pics of the school room .

Meet Job

Job was born Aug. 29 2012 , he weighed 8 pounds and 5 ounces , not as big as I thought he was going to be , but he is so content , I haven't had a baby this content since Dallas . I just love cuddling with this little guy every night . God is good .

Ready To Go

Well I am getting worried about how big this baby is getting and so is my DR. so I have decided to be induced tomorrow . I have had trouble getting around for a while and I usually go over a week past my due date , I have been having contractions daily but they go away after a while , it could be extra fluid but we will see , I would appreciate everyone's prayers that everything goes well . There is something about going to the hospital voluntarily that makes me nervous :) . I will update asap , don't know when that will be , whenever I get back home . Here is the only picture I have right now to show everybody how big I am , not very good but its all I have God Bless .... 

 

Summer Pics 2012

54 Days To Go

Well at least that is what my baby ticker says , this pregnancy has just went by so fast . I have done really good up until my last trimester , I have been down in my back and my hips , some days it has been hard just to get around . I am guessing maybe he is going to be a big boy or maybe its just the weight. I have gained more with this one than all my others , I have never weighed this much in my life and I still have to gain even more :) . I have been feeling a lot better though since baby has dropped which happened about 5 days ago . Since I am feeling better I realized that there is a lot of things I need before baby gets here , I have spent so much time at home lately , it's been so busy around here , the kids really have not got to do much this summer but I think they have really enjoyed the time at home . I hope to take them somewhere soon , today I was looking at ultrasound pictures and realized that I can tell each one of my kids in those pictures and a lot of people say they can't tell anything about them , maybe it's just a mom thing , I hope everyone is enjoying their summer .

 

My Little Helpers

 Riley loves to vacuum , I remember when I used to like vacuuming :) . They all help out so much and when your 7 months pregnant you can use any help . Riley loves her rain boots she wears them all the time even when it's not raining .

Leah's First Year

Leah has been such a treasure , even after all she has been through she is still a happy baby .

Things about Leah - can only say M words , everyone is a mama or a mamaw , ducks and birds are mack macks and cats are meow meows all other animals she just makes a growling noise .

Loves loves loves her hand towels , it's her security blanket and she won't go to sleep without one , sometimes she will carry two of them around , I guess people wonder why and sometimes I tell them about how I had to hold them under her chin when I would feed her .

Favorite foods - Bread , Bananas , Green beans , Mashed potatoes .

Favorite things to do - Coloring , Swinging , Riding toys , Riding in the car buggy with Riley at the store , playing in water .

Favorite places to go - Mamaw's house you are not only a mama's girl but you are also a papaw's girl , and you call your papaw mamaw .

Things you don't like - wearing shoes , mango's and orange juice .

Funny things you do - when you get real tickled about something you put your hands over your mouth .

I Am Having A ???

I am a little late with this post as with all my other post lately but when I went for my 20 week ultrasound the tech. ask me if I wanted to know what I was having , I told her yes but that I was already convinced that I was having a girl and about 5 minutes into the ultrasound she said oh my you are having a boy , you could imagine how shocked I was . I just couldn't do anything but laugh . I have always wanted to have a little boy ever since I was a young girl dreaming of having a big family , this will definitely be a new experience for me , I have had a name picked out for some time now and probably will stick with it since I have had it picked out for so long , which will be Job after the Job in the Bible of course . I really didn't know I was having a boy since all of my pregnancies have been so different , I liked this ultrasound picture where he had his hand on his chin like he is thinking about something . Will update more later :) .

Our Easter 2012 Pics

Finally I get to post an update . I have been so busy trying to get ready to home school Riley she is going to be starting kindergarten this year , I almost have her curriculum ready . I am considering signing her up with a Christian School as an umbrella school because I just don't want to deal with TN laws . My pregnancy is going well , I will update on that soon , I have been leaving comments on every one's blogs and realized that it has been leaving them as anonymous for some reason , if I can't figure it out I will start putting my name on there .

No More No No's

The Doctor told us during our last visit we could take the no no's off which was a relief , but he said that Leah's mouth is not healing yet so she has to stay on her soft food diet for another month , but she is already used to it . She don't really care as long as it's food , she has a huge appetite , it really surprises me at how much she can eat . The no no's were not so bad this time for us anyway because we found a better way of keeping them on , the last time we used socks but as I was packing for this trip I came across a pair of leg warmers that I had bought Leah at Target last year so I gave them a try and they worked a lot better than socks , all you have to do is pull them over the no no's at the wrist , I'll add a picture. Leah is also walking now :) .     

                                                             

Last Surgery Update

Leah's surgery went well , thank you to everyone for your prayers . The pain was a lot less this time because they gave her Lortab liquid since she can't take codeine anymore . Most things were the same as last time like the No No's and sleeping in the car seat , the only thing different is her diet she can only have food the consistency of baby food , I thought this would be hard for her at first but I think she understood she went back to eating it just fine , it will take a while for her to get back to normal , as usual after a surgery she cries more and wants to be held more and gets up more during the night . The Dr. assured me that the palet was completely sealed so that was a relief  , both of us will be glad that no more food will be coming through her nose , before the palet surgery when Leah would eat whatever went up into the palet would later come out her nose , this was not pleasant for her , once I had to pull out long pieces of chicken that she hadn't chewed up very good . As far as pain and recovery goes this surgery was better than the last two , it seems she recovered a lot faster and the Lortab worked wonders for her pain . Will post more when I become less busy :)

Recent Happenings

Since my last post we have celebrated Leah's 1st birthday , I will try to post about that later . So much has been going on lately , Leah's last surgery will be tomorrow so please pray that everything goes ok and that she recovers quickly , I just hope that they will be able to control her pain better this time , I will try to update as soon as I can . I hated to leave town because my grandmother is very ill she is dying . Also I am pregnant 4 months to be exact , I am so excited about that but so depressed over my grandmother , will try to update soon ....

Dress Up Center

I didn't get finished making all the Christmas presents for the kids last year with all that I had going on but I did finish a few of them , I made some play drinks for their kitchen and one of their big gifts was the dress up center , it didn't exactly turn out the way I wanted it to but I used a small chest of drawers and the dresses drag the bottom when you hang them up but Riley didn't mind and it looked so cute in their room .

Anyone who wants to make one of these I would suggest maybe using a normal size chest of drawers or anything bigger , they have a lot of ideas on the Internet , some people put fabric on the inside and others put knobs on the outside to hang bracelets and necklaces , I left one drawer in the bottom for that stuff , also Hobby Lobby has a great selection of drawer knobs and pulls . If I find something bigger at a yard sale this summer I will probably make another one so it will grow with them .
