Leah's 3rd Birthday

Leah's birthday tree - we have not been able to write on the chalkboard , it is worn out so it needs chalkboard paint hopefully I can fix that soon .

Jennifer made the cookies this year and they were yummy , we had cookies because Leah don't like cake that much .

when she found out her birthday was almost here she was so excited that she went around singing and talking about her birthday for days , don't you just love the toddler years :)

she pretended to read her card it was so cute , she would say happy birthday to Leah about 3 times and then close the card and say the end . I was surprised how much she loved it because most kids don't like cards .

Bubble blowing machine from us , what was I thinking ? it was a big hit and the kids loved it of coarse but the weather was not fit for them to go out so they played with it in the house and the carpet has been wet for days , good thing I am cleaning the carpet this spring .

Leah's First Year

Leah has been such a treasure , even after all she has been through she is still a happy baby .

Things about Leah - can only say M words , everyone is a mama or a mamaw , ducks and birds are mack macks and cats are meow meows all other animals she just makes a growling noise .

Loves loves loves her hand towels , it's her security blanket and she won't go to sleep without one , sometimes she will carry two of them around , I guess people wonder why and sometimes I tell them about how I had to hold them under her chin when I would feed her .

Favorite foods - Bread , Bananas , Green beans , Mashed potatoes .

Favorite things to do - Coloring , Swinging , Riding toys , Riding in the car buggy with Riley at the store , playing in water .

Favorite places to go - Mamaw's house you are not only a mama's girl but you are also a papaw's girl , and you call your papaw mamaw .

Things you don't like - wearing shoes , mango's and orange juice .

Funny things you do - when you get real tickled about something you put your hands over your mouth .

Wow I can't believe my baby is 15 years old today . Time goes by so fast , it's true what they say , little girls do grow up to be your best friends , because your my best friend . I am so proud of you , you try to win souls now and your having your own walk with GOD , I love your boldness and how you reprove people when it comes to GOD'S word , I love how you want to be a mother when you grow up and have as many kids as GOD wants to give you . You are growing up to be the kind of person I wanted you to be . I always hoped you wanted to grow up to be like me , but there are things about you that I would like to be more like you in some ways , you are such a beautiful person , I wish people could see how beautiful you are on the inside and not just on the outside .You truly are a blessing , I could not imagine being without you , just keep following Jesus . I love you ......love mom!!!!!

Riley , it's your 4Th birthday. You are growing up way to fast , I love your curly , fuzzy hair that you never want me to fix . You always want to brush it yourself . I love how you still cling to me , your always holding on to my skirt . I love how you shower me with hugs and kisses all the time . You are so cute , your always telling me about how God is heaven and all the saved people are there with him and how it never gets dark there . Sometimes I am surprised at how well behaved you can be , but when it comes to your older sister you can be very bossy and pushy sometimes . I love how you always say or do something everyday to make me smile or laugh , sometimes before you do something and your not sure whether it's OK , you will ask and say will that be fine ? I love you my little Riley and I hope you have a great birthday ....
