CHRISTMAS BREAK 2016

What we have been up to on our Christmas break ....

Our construction paper Christmas tree , Riley and Lily helped make this .

we had never done this before and the kids thought it was so much fun

we got a real tree this year and let the kids pick it out and decorate it

we decided to make all the ornaments for the tree , here we are making cinnamon ornaments .

it seems we never have enough time to do all the stuff we plan but we managed to do a little bit this year .

we went to a wallabies Christmas pajama party , Job did not come because he does not like inflatables .

once again this year for school we are trying our root view garden but all we ever see is the roots , the vegetable never forms

after making all of our crafts , we started spending most of our time making goodies , this is our death by chocolate

Thanksgiving 2016

I made a cushaw pie this year , my first time trying cushaw and I love it just as much as pumpkin will be looking forward to having it again next year .

This was my Grandmother's , sometimes we decorate with it and sometimes we worry it will get broke :)

Job decided to make a monster with lots of eyes ( little boys :)

Making crayon colored eggs , these were really fun , but its a lot easier to put them in an egg tray which we found out when we were almost done with them .

Making potato stamps , we did so many crafts this year , it kept us busy .

I think the kids enjoyed these the most , I didn't do a very good job of cutting the potato's though but they still had fun.

our jello eggs didn't make it , Job got in the refrigerator and destroyed them , he then came and told me the jello eggs were done , he is in one thing and then another :)

Didn't know what I was going to do about finding the girls Easter dresses then I found out there was a consignment sale that weekend , Saturday was 1/2 price day , I really stocked up on church outfits :) these are for Riley

Leah is so fast at finding eggs she got the most of them , Job and Riley are going to have to get faster or I need to get more eggs :)

Noah played most of the day til he wore himself out , can't believe he is 5 months old now .
