Leah's 3rd Birthday

Leah's birthday tree - we have not been able to write on the chalkboard , it is worn out so it needs chalkboard paint hopefully I can fix that soon .

Jennifer made the cookies this year and they were yummy , we had cookies because Leah don't like cake that much .

when she found out her birthday was almost here she was so excited that she went around singing and talking about her birthday for days , don't you just love the toddler years :)

she pretended to read her card it was so cute , she would say happy birthday to Leah about 3 times and then close the card and say the end . I was surprised how much she loved it because most kids don't like cards .

Bubble blowing machine from us , what was I thinking ? it was a big hit and the kids loved it of coarse but the weather was not fit for them to go out so they played with it in the house and the carpet has been wet for days , good thing I am cleaning the carpet this spring .

Riley is always drawing me pictures and I love them I hang most of them on a wall in the school room .

 

She even leaves me little notes on our lesson plans .

Leah loves to rock in the recliner while we do school work .

Beautiful Days

The last few days we have had beautiful weather , it has been so cold this winter and yesterday it was 54 degrees , the kids loved playing outside , I hope it last for a while before the next cold front .

Valentine Boxes 2014

We Had so much fun making our valentine boxes this year , and we got enough snow to have some snow cream , just like mamaw used to make me when I was a little girl , I miss her so much , our valentine boxes this year was robots . 

Leah really loved hers , she does not want to put it down , she said it looks like a ballerina like her

Homemade Baby Wipes

Finally tried this new baby wipe recipe from one of my favorite blogs , you can find it here . I love these so much better than the paper towels , because of their large size they really do last longer and they are so soft , Riley loves helping me make them because they are so easy .

 

A Boy And His Vacuum

Job is infatuated with vacuum cleaners , so much that it's all he wants to do , he would be happy if I would vacuum all day :) he treats them like they are pets , one night he cried to take our little dirt devil to bed , so OK I gave in and we slept with a vacuum cleaner !!! and the next morning when he got up and pretending to vacuum the mattress the dirt started to come out and we really did have to vacuum it , so for Christmas we thought a little Henry would maybe help but even though he liked it a lot he still loves real ones , even when we go to visit mamaw and papaw he knows where they keep their vacuum and he wants it out as soon as we get there , maybe this means he is going to be a hard worker because all he wants to do is clean :)
